When retirement comes, James is hopeful to have saved enough to spend it sailing around the world. Buying time until he sets sail, we’re proud that James was a Denver Kids mentor, served as a board member for PlatteForum, and is a past president of the Financial Planning Association of Colorado.

James wanted to start a financial services business that is different from the industry standard — a firm where the needs of the client surpassed the needs of the firm. A firm where clients could expect personal service, unbiased advice, and bespoke solutions. That firm is Gill Capital Partners. 

James has been serving clients in the financial services industry since 1986. As a Certified Financial PlannerTM, James brings a wide range of experience to his client relationships with a focus on comprehensive financial planning and tax planning and preparation. Prior to joining Gill Capital Partners, James worked for Fortune 500 companies New York Life Insurance and Charles Schwab & Co. Inc.
